Alan is a comedian, humor columnist and public radio commentator. Of course, of these three, public radio commentator is the most exciting and dangerous. One of two actual Los Angeles natives, Alan defied convention and pursued his career in entertainment by leaving L.A., making his way to Chicago where he worked with the Second City and toured nationally as a comedian. His award winning column ran for over a year in the Boston Phoenix and is currently being compiled into an easy-to-digest-and-purchase book format. Now back in Los Angeles, Alan is the creator/producer of WordPlay, an acclaimed storytelling series at the Fake Gallery in Los Angeles.
